SCULPT IT Hard Gel is a professional non-soak-off hard gel system designed for strength, structure and long-lasting nail enhancements. Developed for sculpted extensions, overlays and rebalances, this high-performance hard gel provides exceptional durability while maintaining a smooth, workable consistency for precise control during application.
Formulated for strength without brittleness, SCULPT IT allows technicians to build strong, structured nails with refined apex placement and balanced architecture. Its self-levelling properties support controlled application, making it ideal for creating salon-ready enhancements with longevity and clarity.
Unlike soak-off builder gels, SCULPT IT is a file-off system, making it particularly suitable for clients who require added durability or extended length.
The rigid structure makes it perfect for sculpted extensions using forms, reinforcing natural nails, and creating crisp shapes.
APPLICATION STEPS
WATCH APPLICATION VIDEO HERE
• Complete thorough dry nail prep.
• Scrub with Magpie Prep & Dehydrate liquid.
• Apply chosen thin base layer and cure for 60 seconds.
• Apply slip layer of SCULPT IT and do not cure - go in with structured bead layer and feather down the nail.
• Cure for 60 seconds. Repeat steps if required.
• Finish file if required. Apply chosen gel colour or top coat and finish.

FAQs
CAN SCULPT IT BE USED WITHOUT A BASE COAT?
No a base coat must be used. Our strongest base coat option is Rubber Up which contains a small amount of HEMA. Alternatively our Give Me Strength+ clear is our strongest base coat which does not contain HEMA.
WHICH CLIENTS ARE BEST SUITED FOR SCULPT IT?
Any clients who have particularly flat or weak nails which need structure and strength benefit from this fantastic system. Clients with long nails are excellent candidates SCULPT IT since it holds its structure so well however short and medium length clients will also benefit from this system. Due to its self leveling properties and consistency, it is a very quick and cost effective system to use.
WHEN WOULD I CHOOSE SCULPT IT OVER GIVE ME STRENGTH?
At Magpie, we promote the use of prescriptive manicures, recognising that a single product may not meet the diverse needs of all clients. If any clients encounter pocket lifting with GMS ranges we suggest transitioning them to our builder gel or hard gel systems for better results.
WHEN WOULD I CHOOSE SCULPT IT OVER BUILD IT?
This product is ideal for clients seeking a robust solution with minimal bulk, especially if they have faced issues like pocket lifting or if our builder gel ranges are not a strong enough option for them.
IS SCULPT IT THE SAME AS BUILD ME UP?
No. SCULPT IT is slightly thicker than Build Me Up and it does not soak off at all. Unlike BMU which must be applied in a few layers to prevent cracking (due to its strength) SCULPT IT is stronger and can be applied in a thin layer without cracking.
